Brief product introduction
MR20 (HYSAN) is an effective and easy-to-use special agent for cleaning and disinfecting mould and for disinfecting rising sewage. MR20 (HYSAN) can also be used for odour remediation in cases of mould, mould, sewage, dead animals and corpses.
MR20 (HYSAN) is tested according to EN standards EN 1650, EN 1276 and EN 13697 and registered in the database for building products that can be used in Nordic Swan Ecolabelled buildings.
Can be used by both professionals and consumers.
Applications for mould
First, the cause of the mould infestation must be identified and removed to prevent mould growth from returning. If the cause cannot be identified or removed, treatment and prevention with MR60 (SKIMMEL) is recommended before painting or further treatment of the surfaces.
Vacuum the mouldy surface thoroughly with a vacuum cleaner with HEPA filter (14). Dilute MR20 (HYSAN) and apply with a garden sprayer. Work the surface with a stiff nylon brush. Rinse the cleaned surface with the MR20 (HYSAN) solution and allow to dry for 24 hours, after which the surface can be wiped with clean water.
Ensure good ventilation before, during and after treatment.
Use in disinfection
MR20 (HYSAN) can be used for disinfection in connection with rising sewage and other flooding where there is a risk of infection from bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms.
Activated MR20 (HYSAN) is used for disinfection. Activated MR20 (HYSAN) may only be used by professionals and requires training at PROTOX. Contact usif you use activated MR20 (HYSAN) in your work.
Use for bad odours
Bad odours indoors in buildings caused by mould, mildew, sewage, dead animals and corpses can be removed with MR20 (HYSAN) by soaking or washing the surfaces in the room with MR20 (HYSAN). The product can be mist sprayed on all surfaces. Mist spraying is a particularly effective method for hard-to-reach areas and rooms. Drying time is 4-8 hours at 20°C.
Odour removal with MR20 (HYSAN) can be combined with ABSCENT, an odour removal bag that is hung in the room to remove odours or residual odours.

- The product may corrode some metals and bleach certain coloured surfaces/materials.
- Use of activated MR20 (HYSAN) requires a PROTOX mould remediation course
Quality control
A Pro-clean test can be used to check if the mould has been removed.
