A brief overview of INSECT
INSEKT is a colourless, ready-to-use wood preservative for preventing or treating infestations of wood-boring insects, e.g. wood-boring beetles and house beetles in rafters, roof battens, trusses, floor joists and similar.
INSEKT is used to prevent woodwork from being degraded by wood-boring insects and can be used in both new and old woodwork and is particularly suitable for protecting listed buildings such as churches, castles and manor houses.
INSEKT has MAL 00-1.

Use of INSECT
Clean the affected woodwork before starting the treatment. INSEKT can be applied by brush, spraying or dipping. In severe cases of wood-boring insects, valve impregnation can be a solution. Read more about valve impregnation.
When applying by brush or spray, repeat the treatment 2-3 times, each time to the saturation point. The treated wood can be treated with KOMBI PROTECT and MR60.
INSEKT should be used at an average daily temperature above 5°C and at a humidity below 80% RF. Drying time is approximately 8 hours at 20°C.
Range of the product: 200 g/m2 for preventive treatment, 300 g/m2 for curative treatment and 180 g/m2 for injection.

OBS!
In buildings where people spend long periods of time (homes, office buildings and workplaces), the product may only be used in places where people generally only occasionally and briefly come into contact with treated wood (e.g. roof structures, skunk rooms and joists in basements and under floor structures).
Do NOT use to treat wood that comes into contact with food or feed
INSEKT is ready to use and does not require further dilution.
- The product should not be stirred before use.
