INSEKT KONC. - Wood protection against wood-boring insects concentrate
INSEKT KONC. is a wood preservative for the prevention and control of attacks by wood-boring insects in woodwork, such as common boring beetles (Anobium punctatum) and house longhorn beetles (Hylutrupes bajulus L.).

A brief overview of INSEKT KONC.
INSEKT KONC. is a colourless, water-based pesticide for the prevention and control of wood-boring insects, including May only be used for wood protection against house longhorn beetle larvae (Hylotrupes bajulus L.), common longhorn beetle (Anobium punctatum) and termites (Reticuliteermes sp.) indoors. Treatment with INSEKT KONC. can be carried out in e.g. roof trusses, roof battens, tapes and floor joists.
The product is a concentrate that must be diluted with water.

Use of INSEKT KONC.
Clean the woodwork thoroughly before starting the treatment, e.g. by vacuuming. Painted and varnished surfaces must be cleaned to bare wood, as INSEKT KONC. cannot penetrate paint films.
INSEKT KONC. is diluted according to the application situation and can be applied by brush, roller, valve impregnation, spraying or dipping. When applying by brush or spray, the treatment should be repeated 2-3 times - each time to the saturation point.
Full impregnation of the wood in connection with infestation by e.g. house bucks can be carried out with impregnation valves. Read more about impregnation valves.
Please note that the use of INSEKT KONC. causes minor scratching on untreated wood. If the treated surface is to be painted afterwards, the surface should be sanded.
INSEKT KONC. Use on wood with a temperature above 5°C and drying time is approximately 8 hours at 20°C. Clean tools and utensils with soap and water after use.
INSEKT KONC. Coverage
Prevention: Dilute 1 litre of INSEKT KONC. with 9 litres of tap water (10%). Apply 2 x 100 ml per m2.
Control: Dilute 1 litre of INSEKT KONC. with 5 litres of tap water (16.7%), apply 3 x 100 ml per m2.
Control with UV lamp
INSEKT KONC. can be added with UV marker to ensure and check that the product is distributed on all surfaces. The check is done with a UV lamp

OBS!
In residential and commercial buildings, only use in rooms where people spend short periods of time (e.g. unutilised basements and attics).
Do NOT use to treat wood that comes into contact with food or feed
