Briefly about MR30
MR30 is an effective and user-friendly special agent for cleaning and disinfecting mould and bacterial growth, among other things. MR30 is registered in the database for construction products that can be used in 'Nordic Swan Ecolabel' construction.
Can be used by both professionals and consumers.
Application of MR30 for mould
First, the cause of the mold infestation must be identified and eliminated to prevent the mold growth from returning.
Vacuum the mouldy surface thoroughly with a vacuum cleaner with HEPA filter (14). Dilute MR30 and apply with a garden sprayer. Work the surface with a stiff nylon brush. Rinse the cleaned surface with the MR30 solution and allow to dry for 24 hours, after which the surface can be wiped with clean water.
Ensure good ventilation before, during and after treatment.
MR30 can be diluted up to 1:3 with water (1 part MR30 + 3 parts water).
The degree of dilution depends on the extent of the attack.
If the cause of the mold infestation cannot be identified or removed, treatment and prevention with SKIMMEL is recommended before the surfaces are painted or further treated.
Removal of mould with MR30
- Vacuum the surface thoroughly with a vacuum cleaner with pollen filter (microfilter).
- MR30 and water are mixed in a flower or garden sprayer. Spray the mould-infested surface.
- Work the MR30 solution and the surface thoroughly with a nylon brush until the mould infestation is loosened from the surface. Consumption approx. 0.5 litres per m².
- The treated surface is now rinsed clean with the MR30 solution from the garden sprayer. This removes as many spores, particles and dirt from the surface as possible.
- The ”wet” MR30-treated surface should now stand for up to 24 hours and work on the surface, thereby oxidising residual odorous substances.
- After 1 day, the surface can be wiped with clean water.
- If there is a risk of regrowth due to persistent moisture in the substrate, you can re-treat with MR60.
Use of MR30 for unpleasant odours
Bad smells indoors in buildings from, among other things Mould, faeces, urine, sewage and a smoky smell can be removed with MR30 by soaking or washing down surfaces in the room with MR30. The product can be fogged onto all surfaces. Fogging is a particularly effective method for hard-to-reach areas and rooms. Drying time is 24 hours at 20°C.
Deodorisation with MR30 can optionally be combined with ABSCENT, a bag for deodorisation which is hung up in the room to remove residual odours.
