Brief product introduction

AS50 is a water-based and VOC-free fibre binder specifically designed to fix dust and asbestos fibres on insulation materials. AS50 consists of a dispersion of micropolymers designed to form a flexible film on insulation materials and other porous surfaces such as plaster, cement, paint and render. AS50 is a diffusion-open film that encapsulates dust and fibres, minimising the spread of dust and fibres.

How to use

AS50 can be used both indoors and outdoors on materials that may release dust or fibres, including asbestos fibres such as insulation materials and porous surfaces. Apply with a low-pressure sprayer, roller or brush until the surface is saturated.

Dilution: Undiluted.

Coverage: Up to 12 m2 per litre depending on surface absorbency.

OBS!

  • Only apply the product on a dry surface
  • Do not dilute the product.
  • Important: ”The product does not replace the use of protective equipment or subsequent cleaning”. Follow the Danish Working Environment Authority's guidelines on asbestos work, including the section on cleaning and inspection before completing asbestos work.
