ProtoxFugeRen is a kit designed to remove mould and discolouration from grout in windowsills and bathrooms.
The ProtoxFugeRen kit consists of 2 products, each doing its part of the job:
- ProtoxHysan effectively removes mould
- ProtoxFugeRen gel effectively bleaches discolourations, even in depth

Using the ProtoxFugeRen kit
What is ProtoxFugeRen?
ProtoxFugeRen is a specially developed kit that effectively removes mould and mould discolouration. The product is ready to use and easy to dose.
The kit contains:
- ProtoxHysan (500 ml) ProtoxHysan is a special agent for cleaning and disinfecting mould.
- Nylon brush (1 piece)
- ProtoxFugeRen (250 ml) ProtoxFugeRen is a gel that removes discolouration in depth. ATTENTION! ProtoxFugeRen must not be used before prior treatment with ProtoxHysan.
- Sealant pen (1 piece)
- Instructions for use
- Rubber gloves
- Spout for FugeRen bottle
Where do you use ProtoxFugeRen?
Use on rubber joints and hard joints where mould growth is present.
How to use the ProtoxFugeren kit
CLEANING GROUT IN WINDOW SILLS
STEP 1
- If there is a lot of growth on the surface, it is a good idea to vacuum first with a vacuum cleaner with a pollen filter (hepa filter).
- Spray ProtoxHysan gently on the joint and scrub with the nylon brush until all mould is loosened. Be careful not to brush the joint in pieces.
- Wipe away mould residue with a damp cloth.
- Allow the surface to dry.
STEP 2
After cleaning, there may still be discolouration deep in the joint. This can be removed with ProtoxFugeRen gel.
- Cover delicate surfaces or places where ProtoxFugeRen should not be applied.
- Attach the included spout to the FugeRen bottle
- Fill the caulking pen with ProtoxFugeRen.
- Gently apply the gel with the caulking pen and leave overnight.
- Rinse with lukewarm water or wipe with a damp cloth. Empty and clean the pen with clean water after use.
In case of extensive discolouration, repeat the treatment.

ATTENTION!
- Avoid dripping ProtoxFugeRen on areas you don't want it on, as it can bleach/discolour.
- Can damage natural stone and dark window sills.
- Always try in a less visible location.
- Cover with masking tape if necessary.
- Keep out of reach of children.
