KOMBI PROTECT is a ready-to-use water-based wood preservative for the effective prevention of wood-decaying fungi, wood-boring insects and discolouring mould (blue stain).

Briefly about KOMBI PROTECT

KOMBI PROTECT is an effective means of preventing wood-degrading fungi such as True house fungus, yellow dry rot and white dry rot, as well as wood-boring insects such as boring beetles and house beetles. KOMBI PROTECT is designed to protect woodwork and can also be used to prevent discolouring moulds (blue stain).

KOMBI PROTECT has MAL 00-1.

The product can be used by both consumers and professionals.

How to use

KOMBI PROTECT is intended for indoor and outdoor use in use classes 2 and 3 according to EN335:2013. Read more about usage classes. The product is ready to use and is applied undiluted.

KOMBI PROTECT can be used on roof structures, windows, doors, cladding, fences, eaves, carports, etc. At an application rate of 100 ml/m2, the product protects the wood surface against blue stain on wood that is at least "moderately to slightly resistant to fungi" according to EN350:2016:

The product is applied with a roller or brush at 100 ml/m2 against blue splinters and house bucks and 130-140 ml/m2 against brown mould fungi. One application is made per treatment and the coverage is 10 m2 per litre against blue splinters and house bucks and 7-8 m2 against brown mould fungi. The product is applied at temperatures of 5-35°C and relative humidity below 80%.

Drying time is approximately 24 hours at 23°C and a relative humidity of 60 %.
