ProtoxSC20 has been developed to make damage remediation after a fire easier. The product is a professional basic cleaner that does the heavy lifting and removes ingrown dirt and grease.

No matter how large the area or where you need to reach, you can use the ProtoxSC20. It can be applied by hand with a spray, brush, sponge or cloth. But you can also use a high-pressure cleaner or foam laying.

The remedy is based on modern sustainable and indoor climate-neutral technology, which is more plant-based than before. This means, among other things, that it does not evaporate into the indoor climate, is low-alkaline and free of solvents, NMP and VOCs. It also contains no perfume or other fragrances. And then ProtoxSC20 is not corrosive and all the ingredients are biodegradable.

ProtoxSC20 has been tested

All the ingredients in ProtoxSC20 are biodegradable and after rinsing with water, the product leaves no residual chemistry on the treated surfaces. Therefore, the agent poses no risk to the environment or the indoor climate.

ProtoxSC20 has MAL 00-1 and contains no solvents.

Use of ProtoxSC20

What is ProtoxSC20?

ProtoxSC20 is a basic cleaner that makes fire damage remediation easier by effectively removing soot, oil, grease and other types of stubborn dirt. The product is low alkaline, non-corrosive and has a low pH of just 9.9. This makes it easy and safe to work with. ProtoxSC20 is also free of VOCs, solvents, fragrances, d-limonene (citrus-based solvent) and NMP.

You can use ProtoxSC20 for all tasks and cleaning types within fire remediation and thorough cleaning. It can be applied by hand, high pressure cleaning or foam laying.

Where do you use ProtoxSC20?

  • May be used on all surfaces that can withstand water
  • Is particularly effective on hard surfaces such as metals, plastics, ceramics and most lacquered surfaces
  • Can be used on delicate surfaces such as upholstered furniture, carpets and clothes, but requires a good rinse afterwards

Preparation

ProtoxSC20 is diluted with water depending on the nature of the task:

  • Fire damage restoration: 5-10% in water
  • Foam laying: 2-5% in water
  • High pressure cleaning: 2-5% in water
  • Basic cleaning: 2-5% in water
  • Universal cleaning: 1-2% in water

The optimum temperature for the water is 20-50°C, but ProtoxSC20 can also be used in cold water.

Working environment and safety

Contact with cleaning agents always poses a risk of drying out the skin and irritation or permanent damage to the eyes. Therefore, you must always use the necessary protective equipment such as gloves and face shields or goggles. It is no exception with the ProtoxSC20. Although ProtoxSC20 is a low alkaline product that is not classified as corrosive, it causes severe irritation upon contact with the eyes.

Application

ProtoxSC20 can be applied by spray, brush, sponge or cloth. Let the product work for approx. 5 min., after which the surfaces are processed thoroughly and then rinsed with water.


The product can also be applied by high-pressure cleaning or foam laying. Here you apply a thick layer to the surfaces starting from the bottom up. Let the solution work for approx. 15 minutes and rinse with water afterwards.

It may be necessary to re-treat heavily soiled areas with a brush or scouring sponge.

Aftertreatment

Utensils and tools are thoroughly rinsed with water after use.
ProtoxSC20 must be stored frost-free in the original packaging and protected from direct sunlight.
The product has a shelf life of 2 years in unopened packaging if stored correctly.
Empty packaging and residues must be handed over to the municipal waste scheme for hazardous waste.
