ProtoxKombi Aqua is tested and approved

ProtoxKombi Aqua has all the necessary approvals according to Danish and EU legislation. The product is tested and approved according to EN standards EN 152, EN 46 and EN 118 after aging and leaching according to EN 84/EN73.

ProtoxKombi Aqua is approved as a wood preservative in PT8.

In Denmark with approval number 578-26.

In Norway with approval number NO-2020-0191

In Sweden with approval number 5622.

ProtoxKombi Aqua has MAL 00-1 and contains no solvents.

What is ProtoxKombi Aqua?

ProtoxKombi Aqua is wood protection against attacks by wood-degrading fungi (e.g. True House Fungus, Yellow carpenter sponge and white dry rot), wood-decaying insects (e.g. bark beetles and house beetles) and mold. The product is intended to protect class 2 and 3 woodwork (i.e. woodwork under roofs and exterior wood that occasionally gets wet). ProtoxKombi Aqua is not intended for wood in contact with the ground, e.g. posts and poles that are buried.

Where do you use ProtoxKombi Aqua?

Use on new and old woodwork
Can be used outside the vapor barrier e.g. on windows, exterior doors, cladding, fences, carports and sheds
Do NOT use inside the vapor barrier (i.e. inside the home)
Use on wood with a temperature above 5°C, relative humidity below 80 % and wood moisture below 18 %

Preparation

ProtoxKombi Aqua is ready to use and must not be diluted further.

Consumption is approximately 0.2 liters per m2.

The product must be stirred before use.

Always read the safety data sheet before using the product.

Application

ProtoxKombi Aqua can be applied with a brush or roller.

Avoid spilling the product on the ground or in waterways.

Always carry out the treatment on a paved surface or with a cover.

After treatment

Drying time is approximately 24 hours at 23°C and a relative humidity of 60 %.

Clean tools and utensils with soap and water after use.

ProtoxKombi Aqua should be stored cool and frost-free in its original packaging.

The product has a shelf life of 2 years in unopened packaging when stored correctly.

Empty packaging and residues must be delivered to the municipal hazardous waste collection system.

For outdoor use: After treatment, the surface should be re-treated with a pigmented (opaque) coating product to protect the wood from degradation caused by the sun's UV rays and rain leaching. ProtoxKombi Aqua can be overcoated with all water-based surface products. For oil-based coatings, the ProtoxKombi Aqua treatment must first be COMPLETELY dry.
