Mould is a naturally occurring fungus that grows on most surfaces. Mould does not normally degrade surfaces but can cause black, green, brown or white discolouration. Mould is cleaned with ProtoxHysan and preventable with ProtoxSkimmel.
Mould infestations are most often a result of the presence of moisture. The source of the moisture should be identified and removed before combating the mould infestation. Mould infestations are not normally covered by building insurance, even if it covers fungal damage.
