Wood-decomposing fungi
Wood-decomposing fungi are most often found in woodwork, but some fungi (e.g. House fungus) can also grow in other building materials such as masonry and concrete.
Wood-boring insects
Wood-boring or -decomposing insects are found in woodwork – both new and old. Attacks by wood-boring insects are often detected by the round or oval bore holes in the surface of the wood that the insects make. The size of the holes can vary from 1-5 mm.
Odor remediation
There can be many reasons for odor problems, e.g. smoke, mold, dead animals, urine, excrement or the familiar smell of an old basement or attic. Here, the nose is your most important weapon, as the cause can often be hidden, e.g. a dead animal behind a panel or mold in the wall.
Disinfection
