A targeted effort for a lower CO2 footprint
We want to make a difference for our customers by sharing our experience and data. In addition, we work purposefully to reduce our own climate footprint. Here, development of our LCA database and an active effort to reduce packaging consumption are central parts of the action plan.

In addition to focusing on the increasing demands for data that our customers face in their industries, we work purposefully to reduce our own climate footprint. LCA as a central part of our action plan
Quality assurance is an essential part of our business and we are dedicated to ensuring that our products meet the expectations of our customers. As a central part of our action plan, we are well underway in developing an LCA database with life cycle assessments of each product's environmental impact. We can use the database to identify where we can reduce CO2 emissions in the supply chain and thus optimize our products.
This is how we work to reduce packaging consumption
We work purposefully with our climate accounting and have joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to ensure that we work systematically and responsibly with our climate objectives. With the aim of reducing our packaging consumption and thus CO2 emissions, we are working to change the composition of products that require particularly heavy packaging to some that can be stored in lighter standard packaging. We work with, among other things:
- Implementation of packaging made from recycled materials. We will increase the share of recycling, so that at least 50 % of all packaging will be produced from recycled materials by 2026.
- Phasing out of 20-litre cans. This will reduce the packaging weight per liter by 30 %.
- Launch of Protox Insect concentrate as an alternative to Protox Insect ready to use.
